The film then cuts to the White House where the US President has his eyes on an impending situation in Africa, worried that it will spill over into their country. A doctor informs him that if they can procure a blood sample from Alice, it might help them create a vaccination against the spreading virus. Alice wakes up in what looks like a modern facility. The doctor informs her that he will do anything in his power to save her because she has been chosen for this experiment.
